What is MSPO?
The Malaysian Sustainable Palm Oil (MSPO) certification standard sets requirements across Malaysia’s oil-palm value chain. The current MS 2530:2022 series covers independent and organised smallholders, plantations of different sizes, palm oil mills, processing facilities and dealers. What is the data source?
MSPO Trace derives its entity-level listings from official MSPO public certification data. The source publishes the entity, identifiers, status, certification body, location and other record fields used by this site's independent registry mirror.

What MSPO Trace does
This website reorganises official public MSPO entity records into searchable registries, a dashboard and a map. It is designed to make it easier to discover records, compare status labels and understand how one Track ID can cover more than one physical entity.
The public data model keeps these fields separate:
- Physical entity — the estate, mill, dealer, refinery, SPOC or other listed site.
- Track ID — a source tracking identifier that may appear on more than one physical entity record.
- Entity or SPOC code — a separate identifier published for the entity.
- MPOB number — shown only when present in the source; its appearance here is not independent proof of current licence validity.
- Company and parent company — organisational fields kept distinct from the physical entity.
Freshness and reconciliation
Every registry view states the source it derives from. The build compares the official total with the local total and stops publication if they do not reconcile. Source-side duplicate rows are removed only when the official entity UUID and full payload match. MSPO Trace does not publish a synchronisation time, so records here should not be read as current; use official MSPO channels for time-sensitive checks.
How locations are handled
Map markers retain the validated precision published by the source so each pin represents the most accurate source point available. They should still be read as source-reported reference points, not surveyed legal boundaries. Missing, non-numeric, globally impossible or out-of-range coordinates are not plotted; their records remain available in the searchable list.
How to read status labels
The default current view groups ACTIVE, REINSTATE, EXTENDED and TRANSFERRED. DELAYED and SUSPENDED records remain available through clearly labelled filters. MSPO Trace reproduces those source labels but does not decide their legal, licensing, procurement or trading effect.
Use the official source for decisions
This mirror is useful for discovery and comparison, but time-sensitive verification should be made through official MSPO channels or with the certification body shown on the record. Nothing on this website is legal advice, a statutory licence search, or a substitute for an official certificate.
